Teacher Websites

MBG-mattBgomez is a resource website created y Matt B Gomez for Kindergarten teachers.  his website offers classroom set-up, management systems, center ideas, blogs on topics surrounding education, webinars on everything education and images of classroom set up. I found the most useful information I found on his website was his inclusion of discussion on needed centers in the classroom.  His discussions included why they are important for furthering learning, and how they could be incorporated into the classroom Any educator would not want to miss his informative response to Kindergarten education.  To check it all out go visit mattBgomez.com

Miss Decarbo Sugar and Spice site is a creative resource for early educators. It has everything that a new teacher needs to get great ideas to incorporate into their classroom.  After reviewing her site I what I found to be the most beneficial was her attention to classroom set up and curriculum support.  She gives great explanation of classroom design through visual and written communication.  Her site is easy to navigate which is important when looking for specific support on classroom topics.  Miss Decarbo puts much emphasis on literacy development and provides resources to for other educators to put into their classrooms.  To check out her sight go to secondgradesugarandspice.blogspot.com

Teach Preschool is designed by Deborah Stewart, M.Ed.  her site gives  rich insight to preschool teachers.  She builds a trusting website through her experience and education.  Deborah gives readers practical concepts to include in their preschool rooms  She has everything from DIY projects to best practices for the preschool classroom.  What I find most valuable  about her site is the attention given to getting students ready for Kindergarten.  To put to practice her insight check it all out at teacherpreschool.org

Bevin Reinen s the editor early childhood educator website.  This website offers many informative resources for the early educator.  There are three resources I found very useful, A Day in the Life, Teacher tools and a Blog.  A Day in the Life offers similar stories that all preschool teachers experiences, giving other educators a place to relate and experience different approaches.  Teacher tools gives lesson plan support, classroom management ideas, and teaching strategies to be tired in classrooms.  The log provides open communication about topics that currently surround early education.  To check out more of these great resources go to www.earlychildhoodteacher.org.

  1. Amber,
Thanks for the great website resources. It is nice to have more tools in the my teacher tool box. The more ideas that are shared out there allow teachers to spend less time in creation of ideas. This allows teachers to spend more time in working with the students.
    Great Blog

  2. I really enjoyed the first two blogs you posted. The Sugar and Spice blog was cute and funny. I loved the she made applesauce with her kids but refused to eat it. I am the same way. I thought that was really hilarious and actually started following her blog myself. The third link you posted took me to an error page! Just a heads up! Good post :)
